Rated 5 out of 5 by from My must have skin-care item! I've been using this ointment for a little over a year now. I have been prone to acne since my early twenties (I am now 27). The acne that I had was moderate in amount, but severe in nature. I would break out around my chin, mouth, and lower cheeks in deep, painful, cyst-like pimples that would take forever to heal and leave remnants behind for weeks after "popping." I have been to the dermatologist and tried every product under the sun, including antibiotics, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and retin-a. I have also been on birth control to help my acne. After finding a good birth control that worked for me, most of my acne did clear up; however, I would still occasionally get a few deep pimples here and there that would all pop up at once and still be difficult to clear. I would have a few weeks of clear skin, followed by a few days of bad acne. Since I have been using the Tea Tree Ointment, I rarely have a breakout. If I do, it's usually one or two small pimples that come to fruition rather quickly and heal within 24 hours of popping. I have recently stopped taking birth control (almost two months now) and my face is still maintaining its clarity. I use the Tea Tree Ointment every morning and every night. I will also dab a bit extra on a spot if I see redness or signs that I might get a pimple. It seems to help with the overall glow of my face as well as the healing time of any acne I do rarely get. I will list my skin-care routine for anyone who is interested below. Morning: -Wash with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash (orange in the pump bottle). -Moisturize with a mixture of 3/4 CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion and 1/4 Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment. (I don't have an exact measuring system for this, but it's roughly half a pump of CeraVe and one pinky-finger scoop of the Tea Tree Ointment) I don't use a "primer" for my makeup. I simply allow the above moisturizing combo set in for a few minutes and then put my makeup on over it. It works great! Night: -Wash my face (twice, to be sure to get all of my makeup off) with Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash-Original. -Moisturize with a mixture of 3/4 Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment and 1/4 CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. (Three pinky finger scoops of the Ointment and less than a dime size dollop of CeraVe.) I know the combo of CeraVe and Tea Tree Oil seems weird, but it works for me. I use more CeraVe and less Tea Tree Oil in the morning mostly because using a lot of the Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment makes my face more slick and my makeup doesn't stay put as well. I also use a little bit of CeraVe at night because it adds a moisturizing element (hyaluronic acid) that the Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment lacks and it feels more refreshing than using only the oil. I would like to note that I have used this ointment on scars and minor cuts and it works well as an antibacterial barrier under band aids. I also have an elderly cat that is prone to get abcesses in his ear from cat-fights and I once used the Ointment on an abscess for a couple of days and it cleared it up quicker than using the gel they've given us before at the vet! All in all I absolutely love this product and don't know what I'd do if it were ever discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for acne, if not everything else I bought this for spot treatment, since pure tea tree oil needs to be diluted to be used on the face. This is absolutely amazing. It helps the pimples go away so quickly and moisturizes my skin in the process, so there's no scarring. I take it everywhere and use it also on dry skin on my hands and it's also great for razor burn. I'm sure I'll discover other uses for it, because I plan on using this for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver I have been a diabetic for 41 years and I always have to worry about cuts on my body. I use to have such a problem healing. A few years ago I found this Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment and now I have no worries about my skin. I put it on everything from my head to my toes. My toe was bleeding a few days ago while at a theme park. I was away from home on a trip, as always I brought my ointment with me and within 2 days I couldn't find the cut. Thank you for such a wonderful product and please never stop making it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best cuticle healer ever! I found this ointment several years ago and it's been kinda hard to find locally. Finally looked up this website and am thrilled it's still available online! I've been recommending it to everyone for the best nail/cuticle treatment ever in my decades of searching. It really does not get any better than this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional for foot care What a find this product is! I have had problems with recurrent foot infections my entire life, until I discovered this product. I use it daily on my feet after a shower. I also use it after I get a pedicure, work out or swim at any public facility because it reduces the risk of picking up any infections. The tea tree oil and tocopherol naturally treat fungal infections and athletes foot. Regular use keeps my toenails pink and healthy and my feet callous free! Just wish I could purchase it in a larger quantity. It is also great after shaving and my husband uses it for any dry skin patches. Wouldn't want to live without this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tattoo Ointment My tattooer instructed me to use this stuff multiple times a day until my tattoo heals and it is such a godsend. I put it on 3-4 times a day to help keep my tattoo moisturized and it not only keeps it moisturized, but also keeps it from hurting too badly as it is peeling. My tattoo artist says she loves to also use it after she shaves her underarms. Anything that has tea tree oil in it is okay in my book. ^_^

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cracked feet My husband's feet were so cracked they would bleed. He tried all kinds of salve and moisturizers and nothing worked. After he tried Tea Tree Oil skin ointment his feet began improving in 2 days. This is an amazing treatment and I am ordering two more jars to keep handy for the other feet or hands in the family.
